This is a simple recipe for any finely chopped vegetable. Asparagus is such a great simple side dish that goes well with almost any protein.
- 1 Sauté Pan, 10-12"
- 1 lb Asparagus
- 1 tbsp Avocado Oil
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- Rinse the asparagus.
- Cut the tough ends off, usually 1.5-2 inches from the ends of the stalks.
- Cut the rest of the asparagus into 1.5" pieces.
- Heat the avocado oil over medium high until it slides easily around the pan. Add the bottom 3/4 of the asparagus. Cook stirring occasionally for 2-3 minutes. Then add the tops. Cook for another 1-2 minutes. Add the salt and pepper, stir, then serve.
